Rules

Rules

Postby The Team » Wed, 05 Nov 2008 20:42:23 +0000

Our rules are seldom and simple, and are meant to create a safe yet free space for the community.

1. No personal attacks or threats(feel free to disagree or argue)
2. No intentional slander
3. No child pornography
4. NO SPAM! If it does not relate to Big Talk, your posts will be deleted and you will be banned from registering. If you're not trying to sell shoes, role playing game servers, or porn, you don't need to worry about this one.

Outside of these four, please use your common sense to determine whether or not a post is appropriate. We would rather you tested the limits than hold back, so please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions the rules on our forum.

In the last month there has been a huge increase in spam. Please report it to me if you see it.

Also, if you are a new member, please be aware that listing a website that can be perceived as commercial could give the impression that you are a spambot. In order to protect the users on the forum, I may delete an authentic user in error. If that happens please email us and create a new account.

Alright I just pruned our spammers and their posts. I'm sorry if I deleted a real active user, but it was the only way to get rid of the thousands of spam posts we were receiving. Fortunately that has been taken care of. To discourage future spam, I have disabled the ability for new members to register. I will re-enable it sometime in the future.

In addition, registered users must now have their posts moderated. This will also change in the future when we root out all the cockroaching spammers.

Long live big talk!
